SUBJECT  TESTS  SEMINAR  SCHEDULES

University of California campuses and selective private colleges require Subject Tests. Most require two tests with a few private schools asking for three. For selective colleges, Subject Test scores are an important aspect of admission.

In preparation for the Subject Tests, Ames Seminars offers Literature Subject Test, and Math 2 Subject Test and US History Subject Test seminars.

Ames Seminars' Literature course teaches common vocabulary needed for success on the test. For example allusion, allegory, rhetorical, anecdotal, cryptic and tract are a few terms that you should know! We also work to improve reading comprehension skills specific to the essays and poetry used on this test.
