Welcome to the College Connection at Ames Seminars!

This section of our web site is organized so you can easily get to any part of the College Connection from the opening page. Our goal is to help you quickly get to the most important aspects of the college process while avoiding the vast number of irrelevant web sites and books that constantly try to sell you things you do not need.

If you are new to the college admission process, I encourage you to go to our Getting Started section first in order to get a sense of the game. Competition is increasing, but the process does NOT have to be crazy; understanding the basics of the process will help.
